California now says Gay people can marry. Kudo's for California!
To all those states that say no I have only one thing to say;
HELLO! LAND OF THE FREE!
oK, my vent is over.
No wait, one more thing. John McCain doesn't think judges should be involved in this; http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080515/ap_on_re_us/gay_marriage
Booooo to John-boy!

Fantastic news, isn't it? Opponents have pledged to fight it, and they'll no doubt win some local battles, but the gathering momentum of gay rights appears to be unstoppable.
Thanks for stopping by Stephen.
I'm a little shocked that anyone would deny gays the right to marry. Lets hope more states follow this example.
I was once in a discussion with a woman from California about gay rights. She asked me if we let gays marry what's next? Would people want to marry their dogs? (I was shocked!) So, I said we don't have a big problem with people doing their dogs in NJ but if thats a problem in Georgia maybe it's a whole different issue all together! Sheesh!
I am so delighted, you have NO idea.
What a glorious day for equal rights in America.
Definately smiling here in NJ. Ellen Degeneres announced she's getting married. I'm so happy for her.
She asked me if we let gays marry what's next? Would people want to marry their dogs?
I heard this argument once, also from a woman, and I replied that that same logic would deny her a right to vote:
Votes for women? What next? Votes for animals? Insects?
