There's a new magazine for Gluten Free Peoples!

I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in 2003 and in those few short years there's been an explosion in the availability of Gluten Free foods but this is the first magazine I've heard of that is dedicated to living gluten free. I'm soooo excited! Check out this amazing new magazine! "Delight gluten free" is a fun food & lifestyle magazine for people with Celiac Disease, gluten intolerance and food allergies. It hosts delicious gourmet recipes and easy semihomemade as well. Don't miss the Gluten-Free Meals on a Budget either. (And boy! Do we need that! Gluten free food can be sooo expensive!) Whatever your food allergy you should be able to find something that fits your household, in their February issue they offer gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, egg-free, soy-free and even some rice-free recipes. Not only that, this magazine has a travel section coming in May that will host lots of fun ideas and good advice for when you venture out on the road. Personal stories, inspiring articles on Autism, Q & A with the Doc are among the other features of this magazine. Subscribe to Delight Magazine!

Oh awesome! I need to get this now. *sigh* I'm dying, as we speak, for hot, cheesy pizza. Even though I know it's going to make me sick! Gosh, it's terrible! I have no willpower!

I'm practically in tears I want that pizza so badly! It's stupid. How can I want food so much?

Spy,
Are you gluten free? Celiac?
We make GF pizzas all the time. If its out there we can make it gluten free. Amy's also has a good GF, Dairy Free pizza.

I don't know. I get asthma attacks when I eat dairy. I get itchy throat when I eat tons of fruit, most grains. All of them make me sick. I used to have CFS, and I would take days off of eating because most food makes me sick.

I love food. And substitutes just won't do it, LOL! But I just ordered a cheese-free pizza so I'm feeling proud of myself. I really wanted that yummy cheese on there, though!

Ask your doc for a Celiac test. It starts with a blood test.
And don't go off gluten until AFTER the test. You have to have gluten in your system for accurate test results.
At least then you'd know. Gluten is a protein found in wheat, rye, barley and sometimes oats. All American oats have gluten due to cross contamination. We eat Irish oats with no problems.

Last Day of NANOWRIMO --- Oh No!

Where did the month go?  Certainly not on the page. I have an outline, some character sketches but mostly I have a lot of research notes.  ...
