McCain scared of a debate???

Why else would he back out? With all the congress peoples and senators we have in America why does he (someone who admitted to having very little experience with economic issues) have to rush back to Washington?
Buc, buc, buc, bugaawkk!
9 Houses, 13 Cars---Why would he worry about the economy?

I don't think he's scared of the debate. I don't think his chances of winning or losing the debate factored into this decision. Rather it was a politician's ploy to appear that he is putting the good of the country over the good of his own campaign. Now, I know that sounds a little cynical, but I do happen to be a McCain fan - I'm just calling it how I see it. You have to remember: everything they do is for a reason, a carefully scripted and well planned out reason.

McCain missed 64% of his votes in the senate. And voted with Bush most of the time anyway. Not a great track record or an excuse for rushing back there.
But I have a better idea.
Why don't they just move the debate to Washington? Then they can be there and we can still hear the debate. Wouldn't that solve everything?

Yeah, I think the whole situation is a little fishy. That's great he wants to get down to business and help the nation, but really - is he THAT important that they can't do without him for a couple days? Does he not have a phone?

Well they are now debating this evening. I can't wait to hear what they each have to say.

He showed up for the debate. And I think he won the debate. Which I'm not overly happy about. I would prefer Obama, but...Obama's answers in the debate do make me worry a little about his abilities for the white house.

Last Day of NANOWRIMO --- Oh No!

Where did the month go?  Certainly not on the page. I have an outline, some character sketches but mostly I have a lot of research notes.  ...
